Our client Digilitics alongside Bain and Company, end client Emaar a leading real estate developer and management company in Dubai UAE. To them, we provide professional IT outsourcing services Inc. contract negotiations and transformation project management.

The challenge

The end client had decided that they wanted to concentrate on delivering their primary services as a real estate developer and management company by outsourcing a number of functions of their IT department to a Managed Services Provider (MSP), in order to make sure they could stay competitive in the real estate market.

The solution

Our consultant was responsible for:

• Accessing Emaar’s capability to outsource their Service Desk, NOC, Level 2 IT support, operations and ERP application support
• Preparing the financials and the business case
• Management of the RFP process to a BAFO and vendor selection
• Sourcing and assigning a legal team, negotiating the financials (worth 190M AED deal), the development of the Master Service Agreement (MSA) contract
• Managing the employee consultation process to identify and transfer 110 key IT resources to the MSP
• Managing the transition of IT Operations and Support services to the MSP(inc Oracle, SAP, ServiceNow and in-house built applications.)
• Creating the new IT organisation and the new Operating Model
• Setup of a new Vendor Management Office (VMO) to support the MSP including management of Service Level Agreements (SLA’s), Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s), Portfolio and Risk Management.

The results

Successfully delivering a hybrid outsourcing solution with 2 of the big IT MSP’s in the middles east, GBM and IBM, Offshoring application support to India IBM and the remaining support Onshore in Dubai by GBM.

To provide a fully WIFI coverage service for a part residential and commercial high-rise property and its surrounding areas in Dubai.

Our consultant worked with a third-party to carry out a WIFI Survey:

• Floor plan and material survey
• Predictive survey
• AP on a Stick survey
